Spellbinders™ Imperial Gold Dies!

Supplies:  Cardstock - Bazzill, Stamp - JustRite Stampers (Seeds of Summer); Pattern Paper - Authentique; Dies - Spellbinders 5x7 Matting Basics A and B, Gold Labels Four, Labels Four; Glitter - Martha Stewart

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I wanted to start off letting you know that Nina has announced the winners of the blog hop on her blog.  Hope it was you!

Today I wanted to share with you a card I did using the award winning Gold dies that Spellbinders released at this last CHA.  You can read about the award on the company blog.  This Gold Labels Four die is gorgeous and one of the things that make it so amazing is the debossing that no other dies have.  It is more noticeable if you ink it up or paint it but I think it looks amazing just plain white!  This is a card I created for our lss.

I'm working on some bright cheery stuff now.  I am sooooo ready for Spring.  How about you?

LOVIN' NinaB Designs Blog Hop!!

Welcome to the NinaB Designs* first team blog hop of 2013! We hope you have had a relaxing holiday break and ready to join us for another year of inspirations and prizes!
*NinaB Designs is a product designer for a few paper crafting companies including Spellbinders, Want2Scrap and Penny Black, and The Craft's Meow.
For this month's hop, Nina challenged the team to create a project with the LOVE theme, which can be interpreted in many ways: Valentine, Anniversary and Friendship.

To create this card, I embossed the cardstock with a Spellbinder Bricks and Bark M-Bossibilities folder.  After adding a rectangle cardstock and Pink Paislee pattern, I adhered a trim across the midde.

Next, I stamped the bottom part of the house with black ink and the top with red.  Then I cut them out with the matching dies.  I was actually going to stamp the heart in the center and cut out seperate so that I could pop it with foam dots but after I got my heart die out on the scrap table...it vanished!  Ugh!  LOL  Although I cannot find it anywhere, I know it'll show up.  The nice thing about these house stamps is that you can stamp which ever heart you want right in the center where there is a spot for it.  So I chose the 'Love You' one and stamped it right in the center.  Then I colored the outer frame and added some glitter!

Here are the products I used for my card:

Are You the Winner? If not...a card to Cheer You!

Thank you!  Thank you!  Thank you!  You are the sweetest blog readers evah!  I loved and appreciated everyone of your comments.  Some of you crack me up!  Just so you do know, I use Random.org to choose the winner.  I don't actually 'pick' one.  LOl  I also wanted to answer another question.  The precious baby in the photo is not mine.  The picture is from a photo shoot I did of my sweet friend's baby.  She actually has three gorgeous girls, all who are very fun great in front of the camera!  LOL

So, I was busy working and mostly playing hard with my own kids this week and didn't get anything created and decided I was going to post this card that I made for the store.  Funny thing is, as I was loading it, I thought the sentiment was quite appropriate!  LOL

Supplies:  Cardstock - Bazzill;  Stamp - JustRite Stampers, Die Template - Spellbinders S2-020 Medallion Five; Bling- Want2Scrap

A simple card 'To Cheer You' if you didn't win any prizes during the hop.  LOL  Wish I could mail something out to everyone!  Hopefully you were all inspired.  I know I was!  Okay...on this blog's winner....
